The Royal Legacy Dance Team is more than just a dance group — we are a dynamic and empowering team that brings talent, energy, and heart to everything we do!

We proudly participate in:

🎉 Parades – Marching and dancing in local and regional parades for holidays and celebrations
🌟 Special Performances – Showcasing our routines at community events, festivals, and private functions
💪 Physical Fitness – Focusing on strength, endurance, and coordination through dance-based fitness training

From the stage to the streets, we’re always ready to perform, inspire, and represent with pride. Whether it's through performance, service, or sisterhood — Royal Legacy is building a legacy of excellence, one dance step at a time.

🩷 What ages can join the Legacy?

We welcome:

Juniors (Ages 5-17)
Adults (Ages 18 and older)

📣 No prior dance experience is required — just bring your energy, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn!

📅 Weekly Practice Schedule

🕕 Evenings – One to Two Times Per Week
Practice days and times may vary based on your chapter:

Weekday evenings
- Covington: Wednesdays
- Slidell: Thursdays
We come together once a month on a Sunday to practice as a full team.

🩰 Practices focus on:
- Technique & choreography
- Stamina & flexibility
- Team coordination
- Performance prep

💵 How Much Does It Cost to Join?

At Royal Legacy Dance Team, we work to keep our program fun, affordable, and accessible for families while providing high-quality choreography and performance opportunities.

📌 General Pricing Breakdown

💃 Monthly Dues: $40 - Juniors /$45 - for Adults
👕 Uniform Package Fees: $600 ** payment plans are in place to help offset this fee
💡 Payment plans available! We never want cost to be a barrier to participation.

Whether you're a total beginner or have years of experience, there's a place for you at Royal Legacy. We offer:

Beginner-Friendly Teams – Perfect for first-time dancers to learn basic moves, build confidence, and have fun
Advanced & Competitive Choregraphy – For dancers ready to be challenged and take the stage at a higher level

👯‍♀️ Our Leadership provide supportive, step-by-step instruction so everyone grows and shines regardless of their dance level.

✅ Do We Offer Family Discounts?

At Royal Legacy Dance Team, we love our dance families — and we want to make it easier for siblings or multiple family members to join.

Here’s how it typically works:

🎉 Multi-Child Discount: Each Child will receive a 10% discount on Dues
👯‍♀️ Adult & Child Combo Discount: If a parent/guardian joins an adult team, both will receive a 10% discount on Dues
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Max Cap: We may offer a monthly max cap on Dues for families with 4 or more members

💃 Yes, Royal Legacy Dance Team Does Fundraisers!

We believe in supporting our dancers on and off the floor — and fundraising helps make it all possible!

🙌 We encourage teamwork, responsibility, and leadership through fundraising — and every dancer gets the chance to shine while earning credit toward their fees.
