💫 What Does Royal Legacy Dance Team Do?

The Royal Legacy Dance Team is more than just a dance group — we are a dynamic and empowering team that brings talent, energy, and heart to everything we do!

We proudly participate in:

  • 🎉 Parades – Marching and dancing in local and regional parades for holidays and celebrations

  • 🌟 Special Performances – Showcasing our routines at community events, festivals, and private functions

  • 💪 Physical Fitness – Focusing on strength, endurance, and coordination through dance-based fitness training

  • ❤️ Charity & Volunteer Events – Giving back by performing at and supporting causes that uplift our community

  • 🎭 Creative Expression – Encouraging confidence, teamwork, and personal growth through the art of dance

From the stage to the streets, we’re always ready to perform, inspire, and represent with pride. Whether it's through performance, service, or sisterhood — Royal Legacy is building a legacy of excellence, one dance step at a time.

🩷 What ages can join the Legacy?

We welcome:​

Adults (Ages 18 and older) 

📣 No prior dance experience is required — just bring your energy, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn!

💃 If your an adult only dance team, why does some of your photos have kids in them?

Great question! We did have a junior team in past seasons, which is why you’ll see kids in some older photos. As the team grew, we made the decision to focus fully on our adult dancers so we could strengthen training, consistency, and overall performance quality.

** But why not just replace the pictures?--Those photos represent our history and growth as a team. They are and will always be apart of the Legacy!

📅 Weekly Practice Schedule

🕕 Evenings – One to Two Times Per Week
Practice days and times may vary based on needs of the team:

  • Weekday evenings 

    • Wednesday Afternoons 6:30-8:30PM

  • We sometimes practice on Sundays.​

  • 🩰 Practices focus on:

    • Technique & choreography

    • Stamina & flexibility

    • Team coordination

    • Performance prep

💵 How Much Does It Cost to Join?

At Royal Legacy Dance Team, we work to keep our program fun, affordable, and accessible for all while providing high-quality choreography and performance opportunities.

Whether you're a total beginner or have years of experience, there's a place for you at Royal Legacy. We offer:

  • Beginner-Friendly Teams – Perfect for first-time dancers to learn basic moves, build confidence, and have fun

  • Advanced & Competitive Choregraphy – For dancers ready to be challenged and take the stage at a higher level

We believe in supporting our dancers on and off the floor — and fundraising helps make it all possible!
